LabinMotion was created after a study of the higher management executive education space. The founder of LabinMotion is S Parthasarathy, an MBA from IIM Bangalore (Class of 92-94) who has more than three decades of experience in the industry. He is also a serial entrepreneur and an author of two highly acclaimed books on Entrepreneurship and Customer Value.

It was observed that highly experienced industry leaders and subject matter experts with top-notch academic credentials seldom get the opportunity to share their rich experiences that are rooted in both theory and practice. The IIMs, ISBs, etc., seldom provide the opportunity for industry practitioners who are also passionate teachers to deliver sessions in their programs. Faculty members are strong in theory but lack hands-on industry experience.

Many of the subject matter experts and industry leaders offering courses on LabinMotion are from the IIMs and IITs who have excelled in their chosen fields. Their insights and strong conceptual backgrounds are derived from their experiences as thought leaders and practitioners. Listening to their insights on various topics is bound to provide deep insights that can be invaluable to a working professional.

LabinMotion curates the programs offered by various institutions.  The programs listed cover a wide range of areas in the management discipline. Each of the programs allows the participant to explore a specific topic in depth and go down a path of reflection and discovery that can be truly enriching. Since all the programs are spaced out across weeks, it allows participants to reflect, implement ideas, and share their experiences with others as a part of peer-learning.

The programs are priced competitively and are significantly lower than those offered by the IIMs, IITs, ISB, and other reputable educational institutions. The programs combine theory and practice, which can help participants in real-world situations. Faculty members offering the programs are highly experienced professionals who have studied at the IITs, IIMs, etc., with rich experience at senior positions in the industry. 

Every program has an option to pay in installments. Also, if the participant wishes to enroll for a program and make the payment 3 months before the program start date, a significant discount of 20% is provided.

We have three kinds of discounts offered on all programs –

Early Bird Discount: We offer a 10% discount on the program fee for enrollments on or before the Early Bird deadline date. 

Special Offers: We offer a 20% discount on the program fee on all enrollments made three months before the program start date.

Group Discount: For group nominations of three or more people from a single organisation, we offer an additional 5% discount over the above the appropriate discount offered as above. 

To enroll and pay for a program, you need to do the following –

1. Visit the specific program page
2. Click on the “Enroll and Pay” button 
3. This will take you to the specific program page in the Learning Management and Enrollment website of LabinMotion – https://lms.labinmotion.com
4. Click on the program hyperlink in the right panel. You can also choose to enroll for multiple programs at the same time. 
5. The selected programs will be visible on your shopping cart page
6. Visit the cart page (icon at the top of the page) and make the payment
7. You have the option of paying in installments

The LMS website will automatically create a user login after you make the payment. Alternatively, the visitor can visit https://lms.labinmotion.com directly, create a user login, and enroll into any program.

To enroll and pay for multiple participants, there are two options –

Option 1: Corporate makes the payment

The corporate sponsor/ HR can send an email to support@labinmotion.com and mark a copy to partha@labinmotion.com with the details.

Many corporates would have an internal process for onboarding vendors and generating a purchase order. Once that process is complete, LabinMotion (legal entity is Aedion Infotech Pvt Ltd) will raise a PDF invoice with all the necessary details and send it to the designated person/team member of the corporate customer. All participants must make the payment before the commencement of the program. 

Option 2: Participant makes the payment

The participant can pay for himself or herself and get the program fee reimbursed by the employer. The participant will receive the PDF invoice automatically by email after making the payment.

LabinMotion is the marketing division of Aedion Infotech Pvt Ltd that markets programs designed and delivered by top-notch subject matter experts.  LabinMotion curates the programs to ensure top-quality that is aligned with the needs of the participants. The faculty members are highly experienced and best-in-class in their areas of expertise. LabinMotion also partners with reputable higher education institutions, where sessions are led by faculty from the respective institutions.

The programs are not primarily focused on job assistance or enhancement. The objective is to sharpen the understanding of underlying concepts and their applications. The programs would have a mix of theory and practice. The skills and knowledge acquired during the programs are likely to help in becoming more effective in the workplace, thereby enhancing the value the participant can offer to a potential recruiter. 

Programs would be a combination of live online and in-person sessions based on the design of the program. The pedagogy would be a combination of lectures, caselets, cases, activities, action learning projects, role plays, projects, etc. 

The recordings of the sessions will be available to participants for a limited period of time, as determined by LabinMotion, after the completion of each session.  This time period would be less than a week after the completion of a session. It is recommended that participants do not miss the Live online sessions. 

Aedion Infotech Pvt Ltd (AIPL) has a fair cancellation and refunds policy that is aligned with the norms followed by this industry. 

Any application fee collected towards enrollment in a program is not refundable. Payment of the application fee does not guarantee admission to the program. The final admission into the program rests with the programme directors based on the requirements of the program. 

In case a program gets cancelled by LabinMotion for some reason or the program directors are unable to deliver the program or the participant has paid a part of or full program fee but has decided not to pursue the program without attending any sessions, AIPL shall refund the amount collected in full within 10 days of the confirmation of the cancellation of the program or on receiving the request from the participant. 

In case of the program being partially delivered and there is confirmation from the program directors/facilitators expressing their inability to complete the program, AIPL shall deduct the pro-rata amount of the sessions that have been delivered from the program fee and refund the balance to the participant within 10 days of the intimation to the participants about the cancellation of the program. A certificate of participation or completion will not be issued in such cases or in cases where the participant has not fulfilled the requirements of the program.

The refund shall be transferred electronically through net banking or any other suitable online mechanism.

The Certificates can be either a “Certificate of Participation” or “Certificate of Completion”. This would depend on the policies of the entity offering the program. The type of certificate awarded and the evaluation criteria would be mentioned on the program page.  A Certificate of Completion is usually granted on successful completion of long-duration programs that involve graded assignments and exams. 

LabinMotion markets Certification programs for working executives on various topics. Highly experienced and reputed subject-matter experts deliver the programs. The Certificates are issued by the entities offering the program through LabinMotion. 

All programs offered by the Institute of Management Research, Teaching, and Training (IMARTT) would have a QR code along with a Certificate ID number that can be used to verify and authenticate the Certificate. Certificates offered by other institutions may or may not have a QR code in their Certificates. The Certificate section on the program page will provide the details of the Certificate issued.
