Program Overview

A strong resource base, proven marketplace success, a recognisable brand name, or even well-established systems—these are no longer enough to guarantee future success. The organisations that will thrive tomorrow will be the ones that can sense change early, respond with agility, and act with confidence in an unpredictable world.

To achieve this, organisations need employees who can continuously make sense of shifting environments, spot opportunities where others see challenges, and convert those opportunities into organisational results. In short, they need employees who think and work like entrepreneurs—people with an entrepreneurial mindset.

An entrepreneurial mindset is more than a set of business skills. It is a way of thinking—marked by curiosity, creativity, innovation, adaptability, and resilience. It empowers individuals to identify opportunities, take calculated risks, and turn uncertainty into advantage. This mindset is not only important for entrepreneurs starting new ventures; it is just as vital for individuals at any level who want to innovate, solve complex problems, and create impact in their organisations and domains. An entrepreneurial mindset is a life skill for the modern workplace.

The Entrepreneurial Mindset program brings this to life through an engaging mix of lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities. Participants will learn to think and act entrepreneurially and strategically in their roles—helping themselves and their organisations, build a path to sustainable growth in an ever-changing world.

Find below some interesting findings on the impact of the entrepreneurial mindset on growth and innovation –

  1. Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) finds a rise in fear-of-failure: 44% in 2019 → 49% in 2024 (share of adults saying they would not start a business because they might fail).
  2. In the US, entrepreneurship activity surged in 2022 (GEM): rates rose ~18% for women and ~20% for men, showing pandemic-era shifts in who starts businesses.
  3. SMEs are crucial: across OECD countries SMEs represent ~99% of firms and generate roughly 50–60% of value added on average. This makes entrepreneurially minded SMEs central to economic growth.
  4. Knowledge-intensive firms are far more likely to scale — OECD finds they are ~70% more likely to scale in employment and ~20% more likely to scale in turnover than low-tech firms, highlighting how an entrepreneurial/innovation mindset in knowledge sectors drives scaling.
  5. Multiple academic studies and program evaluations show that entrepreneurial education and growth-mindset training improve entrepreneurial intentions, innovation capacity and subsequent business performance.

Program Objectives

The program equips middle-level managers with the skills and confidence to think and act like entrepreneurs within their organizations. The program helps participants identify growth opportunities, challenge conventional thinking, and foster innovation in day-to-day operations. Through practical tools and frameworks, managers learn to lead intrapreneurial projects, make agile decisions amid uncertainty, and influence cross-functional teams to drive meaningful change. Emphasizing creativity, ownership, and collaboration, the program enables participants to translate innovative ideas into measurable business outcomes while cultivating a growth-oriented mindset for sustained professional and organizational success.

The program objectives focus on practical application, influencing without authority, and driving innovation within existing structures — the typical levers available to mid-level leaders.

Who is it for?

This program is designed for middle-level managers, functional leaders, and high-potential professionals who play a pivotal role in driving innovation, efficiency, and growth within their organizations. It is ideal for managers who oversee teams or business units and are responsible for translating strategic goals into actionable outcomes. Typically, they have 3-12 years of industry experience.

Participants may come from diverse functions — such as marketing, operations, finance, R&D, HR, or technology — but share a common need to think creatively, lead change initiatives, and foster collaboration across departments. The program particularly benefits:

  • Mid-career professionals preparing for senior leadership roles.
  • Functional and business unit managers seeking to champion innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Intrapreneurs aiming to design and implement new ideas within established organizations.
  • Project and program leaders responsible for driving cross-functional transformation or growth initiatives.
  • Corporate professionals in dynamic sectors (technology, manufacturing, services, FMCG, etc.) who need to build agility and customer-centric thinking.

  • Geetha Krishnan has been mentoring the senior leadership team of Kauvery Hospital Hosur for a long time now, and he has been able to successfully get the team to think and act collaboratively and innovatively.

Third, Geetha’s sense of humour and light touch ensure that people feel relaxed in his presence, share their feedback and self-assessments honestly, and accept and act on his advice.
