Program Overview

In the professional world, effective communication is not just about clarity—it is about fostering collaboration, trust, and influence. Leaders and managers constantly face high-stakes situations where the ability to communicate empathetically can be the difference between conflict and collaboration, disengagement and motivation, or failure and innovation.

This program leverages Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication (NVC) framework to equip participants with practical tools to:

– Navigate complex workplace dynamics.
– Resolve conflicts constructively.
– Enhance leadership presence by balancing empathy with assertiveness.
– Communicate in ways that honor both organizational goals and human needs.

By linking NVC to business contexts (negotiations, team dynamics, performance feedback, stakeholder management), the course builds competencies essential for effective leadership and organizational success.

Compassionate leadership is often quoted as a desired quality in a leader, and one powerful way to build a culture rooted in compassion is through empathetic communication. It is often said that “People don’t quit jobs, they leave bad bosses.”  Lack of empathy, connection, and understanding is often the root cause of being labelled a “bad boss”. This manifests itself in the way a manager or a leader communicates with team members, subordinates, peers, and various stakeholders.

The skills learnt in this program can be used effectively in the personal space, too, thus strengthening family bonds.

Testimonials

  • Subha’s approach has a personal touch. Her personal anecdotes, experience and simple examples helped me to connect to the concepts. The sessions were highly interactive. I could feel the warmth and the concern to reach out to each one of us. I could get a fair picture of what she was trying to deliver.

  • Simply awesome! I relocated from the US 8 years ago after spending almost 2 decades out there. I have attended numerous corporate programs/workshops. I must admit that since my return to India, this is perhaps the best program I have attended. This is one workshop that I look forward to attending every week and do not get tired of attending.

  • The session on feelings was quite interesting. The intention session also made me learn a lot, not only about myself but also about others. The style and delivery of the session were a new experience for me. I learnt a lot of new things that I can relate to my own life experiences. The sessions were too good.
